AFLAC IRON GIRL COLUMBIA WOMEN'S TRIATHLON - Race Information
August 24, 2008 - 0.62mi swim- 17.5mi bike - 3.3mi run

Welcome to the Aflac Iron Girl Columbia Women's Triathlon, one of the most challenging Triathlons in the USA. This event is produced in cooperation with Howard County Recreation and Parks and the Columbia Triathlon Association.

Special Notice to athletes in regard to USAT CARDS FOR REGISTRATION

The duplicate membership option on the USAT one-day forms for USAT sanctioned events has been deleted. Athletes MUST bring proof of annual membership or purchase a one-day permit. Athletes who do not bring/show proof of membership must purchase a one-day OR will not be allowed to race. If you purchased the one day license when you registered (you would have paid $100 instead of $90), your name will be on a list we have and you do not need to bring anything other than photo ID. Athletes who forget their membership cards will have four options. Note all 2008 CTA events have the one day option as a part of the race entry fee structure should you select that form of payment. If you Do forget your card, you have the following choices this year:

  • Go” back” and get your card.

  • Print off a temporary membership card from the USAT web site, ( www.usatriathlon.org)

  • Purchase a $10.00 one-day license

  • Renew your annual membership online and bring proof of renewal

Please remember to pack your USAT membership card. Don’t leave home without it!

THANKS FROM ALL OF US: We wish to thank all who will enter and will compete this year from across the USA. We wish you nothing but success and fun. This is your “Turn” to be on “Stage” and Be More than you may have ever thought you could BE. We at CTA, know you will be Great and have this locked in your Memory of Life’s success for ever.
