JUDY FLANNERY MEMORIAL FUND

IN MEMORY OF JUDY FLANNERY (1939-1997)
"Judy's Time" Showing Around Country

An American Soccer Mom, turned Triathlon World Champion" is a moving and humorous documentary about a woman's spectacular midlife transformation from homemaker to four-time world champion masters triathlete. At 38, Judy Flannery-a mother of five-began jogging, worked her way up to marathons and eventually the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon. Tragically killed at the peak of her career when an out-of-control car struck her bicycle, 57-year-old Flannery was a source of inspiration for other athletes and an outstanding member of her community. In a singular balance of the heartwarming and heartbreaking, "Judy's Time" will leave you feeling like one of the many whose lives she touched. The producer, director and writer of the film, Erin Flannery, is Judy's oldest daughter.

"The time you won your town the race, We cheered you through the market place; Man and boy stood cheering by, And home we brought you shoulder high. Today, the road all runners come, Shoulder high we bring you home..."

To an Athlete Dying Young, A.E.Housman
